Beth Bankston

Beth Bankston has a strong background in healthcare administration. Beth currently serves as the Senior Director of Business - Cardiovascular Institute at Carilion Clinic. Prior to this, they were the Chief Administrative Officer at Jefferson Surgical Clinic Inc from 2018 to 2022. Beth also held several leadership positions at Centra Health, including Vice President of Centra Medical Group from 2015 to 2017, Vice President of Neuroscience/Orthopaedic/General Surgery Service Lines from 2013 to 2014, and Director of Neuroscience and Orthopaedic Service Lines from 2008 to 2013. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Director at Carilion Clinic from 1997 to 2008 and as a Product Manager at Anthem from 1992 to 1997.

Beth Bankston, FACHE CMPE, holds a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Virginia Commonwealth University, which they obtained in 2002. Beth also holds a Bachelor's degree from Radford University, which they completed between 1988 and 1992. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have earned certifications as a Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) from the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) in November 2019, and as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) from the American College of Healthcare Executives.
