Farid Motamed

Farid Motamed is a seasoned engineering professional with over three decades of experience in the industry. Currently serving as Vice President at Fugro since June 2011, Motamed previously held the same position at URS Corporation from January 1999 to June 2011. As an entrepreneur, Motamed founded MCE Group in 1997 and worked as a Senior Engineer at Dames and Moore from 1995 to 1997. Earlier roles include Project Engineer at Huntington Engineering and Environmental (1992-1995) and Staff Engineer at Leighton and Associates (1989-1992). Educational qualifications include an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business, an MS in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and a BS in Geological Engineering from Colorado School of Mines.
