Matt Phelan

Matt Phelan is a Quality & Continuous Improvement Engineer at Fugro since October 2019, focusing on enhancing quality assurance and traceability tools within a new department. Prior to this, Matt served as a Global Asset QHSSE Engineer and Design Engineer at Blue Robotics, and held the position of Mechanical Design Engineer at IMV Imaging from October 2016 to September 2019, where leadership was demonstrated in developing veterinary imaging equipment. Earlier experience includes roles at Vascutek as a Product Development Engineer, where involvement in ISO13485 compliance was key, and at Tannoy as a Mechanical Design Engineer for loudspeaker projects. Matt began a career as a Product Design Engineer at City Building Glasgow, specializing in furniture and kitchen design, and holds an MEng (First Class) in Product Design Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, completed in 2008.
