Ron de Ruiter

Ron de Ruiter is an experienced QHSSE Manager at Fugro since January 2021, with a strong background in health, safety, security, and environmental management. At SEAs, Ron has been a Health Safety Environment Advisor since July 2014, where significant contributions include developing a comprehensive auditing system for corporate HSE standards and conducting certification audits for ISO and OSHAS. Previous roles include Site HSE Lead at Bapetco, managing HSE operations during a CO2 removal plant construction, and HSE Coordinator at Chevron, where Ron oversaw large-scale project safety, achieving over 12 million man-hours without incidents. Ron has also held key positions at Shell Oil Company and Det Norske Veritas, focusing on HSE management systems and certification processes. Ron holds a Post Masters Degree in International Law and a Masters in Chemistry from the University of Leiden, as well as a Post Graduate Course in Ecology.
