Sergio Miranda

Sergio Miranda has a diverse work experience in the finance field. SERGIO started their career as an Accountant at MWEB in 2006 and then moved on to International SOS as an Accountant for Sub-Saharan Africa. In 2010, they became the Business Support & Planning Manager at Merck Sharp & Dohme. SERGIO then worked as the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager at Novartis from 2013 to 2015. Sergio joined Investec as a Management Accountant in 2015 before transitioning to Boehringer Ingelheim as a Financial Controller. From 2016 to 2022, they held various finance roles at Microsoft, including Finance Manager and Finance & Statutory & Tax Manager. Most recently, Sergio became the Finance Lead at Fugro in 2023.

Sergio Miranda holds an Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting from CIMA, which they obtained in 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting at the University of Johannesburg from 2000 to 2002. SERGIO also attended Sandringham High School from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Senior Certificate with a focus on Accounting. Additionally, Sergio has obtained several certifications, including "Learning Power BI Desktop" and "Presenting Technical Information with Stories" from LinkedIn in 2022, and "Cultivating Mental Agility" from LinkedIn in 2021. SERGIO also completed the "Emerging African Leadership Program" from Novartis/University of Stellenbosch in 2014.
