Luke Marshall

Luke Marshall is a seasoned professional in renewable energy and technology, currently serving as the Founder of Direct Air Industries since August 2023. Prior experience includes holding pivotal roles at Sun Cable as CTO and Chief R&D Officer from March 2018 to July 2023, and as a PhD candidate at UNSW Australia where research focused on electricity market design, competition, and deep learning AI. Luke co-founded Oxamii and contributed as a Researcher at Identitii, specializing in blockchain and smart contract design. Additional roles include Project Manager at 5B, Director at Sunapse, and Presenter for the Al Gore Climate Project Australia. Luke's educational background comprises a PhD and a Bachelor of Engineering in Renewable Energy from UNSW. Extensive involvement in environmental initiatives includes serving as Environment Officer on the UNSW Student Representative Council and launching the RenewUNSW campaign. In media, Luke co-hosted the Backchat show on FBi Radio.
