Shawn Sullivan

Shawn Sullivan is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in process engineering and validation within the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Manager of CQV - Process Equipment at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies since June 2022, Shawn leads the downstream CQV efforts for the Holly Springs Project. Previous experience includes a tenure at Cellectis as a Senior Validation Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed the clinical technology transfer of universal CAR-T immunotherapies and the qualification of complex bioreactor systems. With a foundational role at Novo Nordisk as Process Engineer II, Shawn contributed to significant project deliverables in a large-scale manufacturing environment. Early career experiences at ADVENT Engineering Services, Inc. and Biogen further developed expertise in commissioning, qualification, and validation of biomanufacturing systems. Shawn holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University, obtained in 2011.
