Erik Johnson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of IT. Erik started their career in 1996 as a Server Administrator at Weyerhaeuser Mortgage Company, where they provided help desk support and managed Novell Netware servers. Erik then moved on to Omni Computer Products as an IT Systems Manager, where they oversaw a team and managed servers in a Novell Netware and UNIX environment.

In 2000, Erik joined American Honda Motors as a Network Engineer Contractor, supporting a large number of Windows NT 4.0 servers. Erik also installed and supported Arcserve software. Following this, they joined Autobytel as a System Engineer, working on server engineering, hardware movement, and process monitoring.

Erik's next role was at Penske Automotive Group, where they served as a Technical Services Manager. Erik supervised server, PC, and help desk operations and designed and administered a 1,200-node network with new Windows 2000 servers. Erik then became the President of IT Support Specialists, managing a team and providing network support for small and medium-sized businesses.

In 2019, Erik worked as an IT Manager at Doorway Mortgage, overseeing the IT department and conducting employee reviews. Erik joined Acra Lending in 2020 as a Systems Administrator, where they administered Office 365, Exchange, Teams, and Active Directory systems. Erik also redesigned WAN connectivity and relocated a corporate office.

In 2022, Erik held the position of Senior System Engineer at MX Holdings US, Inc., where they administered VMware servers and created Exchange and Office 365 Active Directory systems. Erik also supported storage arrays using Dell Powerstore. Currently, they are working as a Systems Engineer at FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific, where they administer VMware servers and manages tape libraries and backup schedules using VEEAM.
