Hamid Soleymani has a diverse and extensive work experience in the biotech industry. Their current role is as a Scientist II at FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific, where they formulate and improves media for cells and viruses in gene therapy research. Prior to this, they worked at Corbion as an R&D Molecular Biotech Lab Researcher and at Wageningen University & Research as an R&D Biotech Lab Specialist for Enzymatic Cellulose Conversion of Lignin. Hamid also has experience as a Bioinformatician at Green Biotech and conducted a transcriptomics study of a fat-rich plant for biofuel at the University of Queensland.
Hamid Soleymani began their education in 2004 at Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN), where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Life Science. Hamid completed this degree in 2009. From 2005 to 2009, they also attended HAN University of Applied Science in the Netherlands, where they studied Molecular Life Science. Following their undergraduate studies, Hamid went on to Wageningen University & Research and obtained a Master of Industrial Biotechnology degree from 2010 to 2012.
