Chris McMahon

Chris McMahon is a seasoned professional in the field of biomedical research, currently serving as Senior Director of Parkinson's and Immune Cell Therapy at FUJIFILM Cellular Dynamics since January 2012, with a focus on developing differentiation strategies for induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC). Previous roles at the company include Director positions in both Parkinson's and Immune Cell Therapy, and Senior Group Leader, contributing to process scale-up and optimization for drug screening and regenerative medicine. Prior to this, Chris held positions as Director of Product Development at Primorigen Biosciences, where antibody and assay development for multiplex technology was key, and as R&D Group Leader and Senior Scientist at EMD Chemicals and PowderJect Vaccines respectively, focusing on multiplex immunoassays and DNA vaccine development. Chris holds a Postdoctoral degree in Immunology from the University of California, Berkeley, a Ph.D. in Immunology from the University of Washington - School of Medicine, and a B.S. in Biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
