Research Specialist I at FUJIFILM Cellular Dynamics

Dana Nelson has a range of work experience in various roles and industries. In 2014, they interned at the Wisconsin IceCube Particle Astrophysics Center as a WIPAC Intern. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Research & Development Intern at Illumina. In 2019, they held the position of Host and Counter Support at the Food Fight Restaurant Group, where they managed bakery and dessert sales and supported servers and managers. Dana also worked as a Chemistry Lab Assistant at St. Olaf College during this time, explaining concepts, assisting in experiments, and grading pre-lab preparations and reports. They then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General at St. Olaf College, which they are expected to complete between 2018 and 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Dana has also obtained certifications in the field of extracellular vesicles. They completed the "Basics of Extracellular Vesicles" and "Extracellular Vesicles in Health and Disease" certifications through Coursera, although the specific dates of completion are not provided.
