Miguel Benson has a diverse work experience in various industries. Miguel started their career at Kimberly-Clark as an intern in the Insights and Exploratory team, where they developed biomedical technology for product lines and collaborated with different departments. Miguel then worked as a Research Intern at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they gained experience in tissue engineering and developed laboratory skills in mammalian cell culture. Miguel then joined AmeriCorps - Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction as an AmeriCorps Assistant, where they provided curriculum planning and support for a literacy program and recruited volunteers. Currently, Miguel is employed at FUJIFILM Cellular Dynamics, where they have held several roles including Production Specialist, Senior Research Specialist, and currently as an R&D Scientist.
Miguel Benson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Miguel pursued this degree from 2002 to 2007. Additionally, they completed a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Biotechnology from Madison Area Technical College in the year 2009.
