Amit Kapila is a seasoned technology leader with over two decades of experience in database architecture and PostgreSQL development. Currently serving as Senior Director at Fujitsu India since August 2020, Amit leads a team focused on Fujitsu Enterprise PostgreSQL. Prior to this role, Amit held the position of Senior Database Architect and Director at EnterpriseDB from August 2013 to July 2020, specializing in both open source PostgreSQL and EDB's Postgres Plus Advanced Server. Amit also contributed as Senior System Architect at Huawei, leading the PostgreSQL Technology group, and as Principal Member of Technical Staff at Oracle, where work concentrated on the Data Access Layer. Early career experience includes serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Newgen, working on a Document Management System utilizing Oracle technologies. Amit completed a degree at Motilal Nehru National Institute Of Technology from 1996 to 2000.
