Sean Branagan

Sean Branagan serves as the Director of the Center for Digital Media Entrepreneurship at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, focusing on developing courses and internships to foster digital media startups. As Chairman of Scrappy Capital, Branagan invests in early-stage companies across media, entertainment, workplace innovation, and logistics. Branagan is also the Founder and Chief Instigator of Media-Nxt, driving research and innovation in media technologies. Additionally, Branagan is the President and Founder of Communigration, Inc., a pioneering interactive marketing firm. In recent roles, Branagan has contributed as a Fulbright Specialist in Media Innovation, served as Acting VP of Marketing for Brookline Branch Services, and advised organizations like Stadia Ventures and Student Startup Madness, which supports collegiate digital media startups. A graduate of the Newhouse School, Branagan has extensive experience in entrepreneurship, media innovation, and marketing.
