Vera Carothers

Fulbright Grantee - Incoming at Fulbright Association

Vera Carothers is a Fulbright Grantee currently engaged in study and research within the field of Creative Writing, focusing on a collection of reported essays related to political resistance in Argentina. Carothers is also a participant in the Fulbright-John Lewis Civil Rights Fellowship. Previously, Carothers served as a Senior Fact Checker and Fact Checker at The New Yorker, and held the position of Graduate Teaching Fellow for Nonfiction Writing at Columbia University.
