US-UK Fulbright Commission
Kyle M. is a Fulbright Scholar at the US-UK Fulbright Commission since March 2023, focusing on colonial legal history and commonwealth law while collaborating with Warwick University's Global History and Culture Centre and Oxford's African Studies Centre. Previously, Kyle participated in Army ROTC from August 2018 to May 2022 and served as a Resident Advisor at Washington University in St. Louis, where involvement in an African History Summer Seminar supported the development of a senior thesis on Kenyan law. In summer 2020, Kyle was a Project GO Scholar with the United States Department of Defense, learning Swahili and studying human-environment interactions in East Africa. Additional experiences include working as professional waitstaff at Apple Villa and as a maintenance worker for Fox Valley Park District. Kyle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History from Washington University in St. Louis, obtained in 2022.
