Miguel Malcolm

Miguel Malcolm has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Miguel began their career in 2005 as an Assistant Manager at Walgreens, where they worked until 2008. In 2010, they joined Viacom as a Web Production Associate and later took on roles as a Campaign Manager of Digital Ad Production and Lead Project Manager of Digital Ad Production, where they introduced new ad technology and managed high-profile projects with clients, agencies, and internal teams.

In 2017, Miguel transitioned to the tech industry and worked as a Web Developer at WebFab LLC, building web-based applications using Typescript and the Angular and Ionic frameworks. Miguel also maintained PHP-based websites for clients through a custom CMS.

Afterwards, Miguel joined Script in 2017 as a Web Application Developer, and then moved to their current role at Fulcrum in 2019. At Fulcrum, they initially worked as a Software Engineer and later got promoted to the position of Senior Software Engineer.

Miguel Malcolm's education history begins in 1999, when they attended Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University for two years to study Business and Fine Arts. In 2001, they transferred to Seminole State College of Florida and obtained an A.A.S. in General Education. From 2002 to 2005, Miguel attended Morris College and earned a B.S. in Business Administration. In 2008, they enrolled at Technical Career Institutes and completed an A.A.S. in Digital Media Arts in 2009.

Miguel pursued further education in the field of technology. In 2014, they took a course in Front End Web Development at Flatiron School. The following year, in 2015, Miguel attended a course in Product Management at General Assembly.

Miguel'smost recent educational experience was at The Iron Yard, where they obtained a Certificate in Front End Engineering, specializing in Javascript and React.js. Miguel completed this program from 2016 to 2017.

Miguel also has an additional certification in Front End Engineering from The Iron Yard, obtained in February 2017.
