Patrick Forde

Patrick Forde began their work experience in 2008 as an Engineering Demonstrator at UCC. Patrick then worked as an Intern at ESB in 2009, where they supported and developed IT structure for project management. In 2010, Patrick served as a VB.NET Teaching Assistant at UCC, providing weekly tuition to Engineering students. Patrick then joined Morgan Stanley in 2011, starting as a Graduate Developer and later becoming an Associate, primarily working on a rules engine in the Equity derivatives space. In 2013, Patrick joined Goldman Sachs as an Analyst, focusing on FX Trading and Sales Technology. Patrick moved to Fulcrum Asset Management in 2013, initially working as a Developer and later transitioning to the role of Trader. In 2019, Patrick became the Director and Head of Trading at Fulcrum Asset Management.

Patrick Forde attended Colaiste an Spoiraid Naoimh Secondary School from 2000 to 2006, where they completed their Leaving Certificate in Higher Education. Patrick then proceeded to study Civil Engineering at University College Cork from 2006 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Engineering with Honors. In 2010, Patrick pursued a Master of Science with Distinction in Financial Mathematics at the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School, which they completed in 2011. Following this, from 2013 to 2015, they obtained the Charterholder degree in Finance, General from the CFA Institute. Additionally, in July 2015, Patrick obtained the IMC certification from CFA UK.
