Ian Miller started their work experience as an Engineering Intern at TIMET in 2011 and 2012, where they were involved in various projects related to layout design, product and shipping flows, and equipment efficiency. Ian then worked as a Broadband Engineer at Anadigics from 2013 to 2014, focusing on characterizing CATV IC designs and designing a digital attenuator system. In 2014, they joined Structural Services Inc. as an Electrical Systems Engineer, contributing to the development of an automated truck system. From 2015 to 2015, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Lehigh University. In 2016, they became a Systems Engineer at LimnTech Scientific Inc., responsible for building an automated truck system for the roadway marking industry. In 2018, they joined PRENAV as a Robotics Engineer, where they played a key role in building an autonomous system for precise inspection of large infrastructure. Currently, they are working at Fulfil as a Controls Engineer, specializing in firmware development.

Ian Miller earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Lehigh University, where they attended from 2010 to 2014. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the same institution from 2014 to 2015. In addition to their academic qualifications, Ian obtained a Part 107 sUAS License from the Federal Aviation Administration in June 2020.
