Katherine Young

Katherine Young is a Marketing Communications Specialist currently employed at Tahoe Forest Health System since June 2024, with previous experience in the same role at Sugar Bowl Resort from November 2022 to June 2024. Additionally, Katherine has been an Outdoor Guide at The Wildland Trekking Company since April 2018, leading seasonal backpacking and llama trips. Earlier professional roles include food server at Palisades Tahoe and supervisor at Kyles Kitchen, where responsibilities included managing shifts and large catering orders. Katherine also interned as a content writer for 350.org, creating blog content, and worked as a travel blogger for Spherical. Katherine earned a degree in Political Science along with a minor in Professional Writing from UC Santa Barbara in 2017.
