Robert Tiller

Robert W. Tiller,D.B.A., CFP®, RFC® is a limited-access Certified Financial Planner™ Professional and Registered Financial Consultant providing counsel to pre-and post-retirement clients—focused on business owner/executive transitions and multi-generational financial planning.

Beyond continuing his 30+ years of industry practice assisting individuals and their families with holistic financial planning, Dr. Tiller is a practitioner-scholar, intent on improving policy and research efforts for solving real-world challenges. His research-informed book, Forgotten Faces: Family Caregiver Voices,will be published in 2019.

Dr. Tiller is also an adjunct finance professor with the University of South Florida’s MUMA College of Business, teaching “Retirement Planning” for MUMA’s Personal Financial Planning degree program, having earned his Doctorate of Business Administration from USF in 2017.

Previously, he was a contributing author for 21st Century Wealth: Essential Financial Planning Principles in 2000. Dr. Tiller also joined his FCF co-founder as primary panelists for the Financial Services Institute’s national forumThe Changing Face of Retirementin 2012 and as invited guests for the 2015 White House’s Conference on Aging.

Dr. Tiller is a member of the Institute of Registered Financial Consultants and the Institute of Business and Finance. He is a past-President of the North Suncoast Estate Planning Council and served as a Board of Director for the Pinellas County Chapter of the USF Alumni Association. He also volunteered as a Board of Director for Pasco County’s “Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired and Blind” while serving as a Board of Director Officer for “Gulfside Hospice.”
