Rick Childs

Rick Childs has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Rick has held various roles in different companies.

From 2021 to the present, Rick has been working at Full Sail Partners as a Principal Consultant. In this role, they are responsible for assisting clients with the selection, implementation, and optimization of their Accounting and Human Resources software systems. Rick acts as a trusted advisor, develops implementation and training strategies, and manages projects to ensure they stay within budget and schedule. Additionally, Rick is involved in marketing activities such as writing blogs/vlogs, presenting at conferences, and conducting webinars.

Prior to their current role, Rick worked at Full Sail Partners as a Senior Consultant from 2018 to 2021. During this time, they also served as a Sales Engineer. Their responsibilities included assisting clients in selecting and implementing software systems, as well as providing guidance and support. Rick played a significant role in developing implementation and training strategies, managing projects, and engaging in marketing activities.

Before joining Full Sail Partners, Rick served as a Controller at Ascent Geomatics Solutions from 2015 to 2017. Ascent Geomatics Solutions is a surveying and civil engineering company operating in the oil and gas industry. Rick contributed to the company's success by providing customized solutions and overseeing financial operations.

From 2003 to 2015, Rick held the position of Senior Consultant at Full Sail Partners. Full Sail Partners is a business consulting and technology solutions provider for Deltek Vision, a global enterprise software and information solutions provider. Rick's expertise in Deltek solutions, gained through over 20 years of service, contributed to the success of the company.

Prior to their tenure at Full Sail Partners, Rick worked at Madsen Kneppers & Associates, Inc. where they held the role of Business/Operations Manager from 1995 to 2003. Rick was responsible for managing the business and operations of the company during this time.

Rick's early career includes working as the Director of Management Information Systems at Command Communications, Inc. from 1990 to 1995.

Throughout their career, Rick has developed a strong skill set in business consulting, software implementation, project management, and marketing. Rick has consistently demonstrated their ability to provide valuable guidance to clients and deliver successful outcomes.

Rick Childs attended Cherry Creek HS from 1971 to 1975. After completing high school, they enrolled at Colorado State University from 1975 to 1980. At Colorado State University, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Finance.
