Chicagoland Shorts Film Programmer at Full Spectrum Features

Raul Benitez is an experienced Information Technology Specialist at HCLTech since March 2025, while also serving in various prominent programming roles in the film industry. Currently, Raul is the Lead Film Programmer for the Latino Center of Iowa and the Director of Partnerships and Programming at Pixquid®️, along with being a Senior Film Programmer for The Midwest Film Festival since March 2021. Raul has extensive involvement in film curation and screening, evident through positions at multiple organizations, including Full Spectrum Features, Comfort Station Logan Square, the Ann Arbor Film Festival, The Nightingale Cinema, and the Chicago Underground Film Festival. Additionally, Raul has contributed as a Film Programmer for the Chicago International Film Festival's After Dark series and Shorts program, underscoring a strong commitment to the arts and community engagement. Educational endeavors include ongoing studies at Microtrain Technologies alongside a degree from Purdue University.
