Gary Hammes is an experienced engineering professional with expertise in FPGA and ASIC design, embedded systems, and hardware development. Currently serving as the Director of Embedded Engineering at Full Swing Simulators since August 2024, Gary previously held the position of Principal FPGA Engineer at Ainstein, where responsibilities included radar signal processing and system architecture. Earlier roles include Hardware Developer at Tradebot, Lead FPGA & Senior ASIC Engineer at RED Digital Cinema, and Lead Hardware Engineer & Senior ASIC Engineer at QuVIS. Gary's career also includes significant contributions to Altera as a dedicated FAE and various positions focused on IC design at Silicon Laboratories and Freescale Semiconductor. Gary holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Kansas State University, earned between 1991 and 1996.
