Matthew Thompson

Matthew Thompson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the engineering field. Matthew is currently the Director of Hardware and Embedded Software Engineering at Safe Fleet, a position they have held since April 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Seon where they held various roles including Engineering Manager from August 2014 to March 2018, Program Manager from January 2013 to July 2014, and Project Engineer from May 2009 to December 2012.

Before joining Seon, Matthew worked at Nokia as a RF Stream/Project Lead from April 2003 to March 2009 and as a Senior RF Engineer from November 2000 to April 2003. Matthew started their career at VTech in 1997 as a RF Engineer, where they successfully completed three cordless telephone RF projects.

Additionally, they gained early work experience at MPR Teltech as a Co-op Work Experience from February 1996 to August 1996. Matthew's work experience highlights their expertise in engineering, project management, and leadership roles.

Matthew Thompson has a diploma in Electronics Engineering with a Telecommunications option from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
