Nii-Ama Akuete

Nii-Ama Akuete serves on the Board of Directors at Fuller Craft Museum since May 2021 and has held the position of Senior Director and Chair of Fitch BALANCE at Fitch Ratings since July 2013. In this role, Nii-Ama oversees firm-wide relationships with prominent global asset managers, pension funds, and insurance companies, coordinating with various business units across Fitch Group. Previous experience includes managing director of business development at Hitachi Consulting, where strategic partnerships with private equity funds were forged, and vice president of business development at GLG Research, establishing the retail/consumer practice and managing investor relationships. Nii-Ama began a career in investment banking at JPMorgan, focusing on debt capital markets analysis. Educational credentials include a BA in Economics from Brown University, attendance at Groton School, and coursework at Harvard Extension School.
