Fran Howell

Fran Howell has extensive work experience in procurement and project management. Fran started their career at Fuller, Smith & Turner in 1990, working as an Operations Training Manager at Whitbread. In 1997, they joined Fuller, Smith & Turner as a Retail Systems Manager. Fran later progressed to become a Group Projects Manager, responsible for major IT projects. In 2008, they became the Purchasing Manager, where they founded and chaired the Pub & Brewery Purchasing Forum. Fran then became the Procurement, Projects & Property Manager, leading million-pound efficiency projects. Fran'smost recent role was as Head of Procurement, where they managed all procurement categories and led the integration of new businesses. Fran also developed contingency plans to address Brexit risks. Fran is MCIPS qualified and has specialist experience in business acquisitions and disposals.

Fran Howell attended the University of Exeter from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a Joint Honours 2-1 degree in German and Linguistics. Following this, from 1989 to 1990, they pursued a Business Studies MA at the University of Manchester.
