Patrick Johnston

Patrick Johnston is an experienced music educator and performer, currently serving as a Music Specialist at Fullerton School District since August 2020. With a strong background in choral instruction, Patrick has held various roles including Bass/Baritone with the Donald Brinegar Singers and Volunteer Choral Assistant at Gabrielino High School. Previous positions include Music Specialist at Camino Nuevo Charter Academy and Teacher on Special Assignment within the San Gabriel Unified School District, where Patrick supervised music instruction for young students. Patrick has directed adult choirs at San Gabriel Mission and taught musicianship at the Los Angeles Children's Chorus. Educational credentials include a Master of Music in Choral Conducting and a Master of Music Education from California State University, Los Angeles, and the University of Southern California, respectively. Additional certifications in the Kodály methodology and Orff-Schulwerk enhance Patrick's expertise in music education.
