Kathryn Lam

Kathryn Lam is a Software Engineering Senior Advisor at Express Scripts, with a tenure beginning in June 2021, and previously held the role of Software Engineering Advisor. Currently, Kathryn serves as a Web Development Instructional Associate at Fullstack Academy, also starting in May 2021, after a brief stint as a Contract Fullstack Developer at Collegiate Gateway. Kathryn's expertise includes designing internal management systems, writing RESTful APIs, and enhancing work efficiency through automation. Additionally, Kathryn has experience as a Software Engineering Teaching Fellow at Fullstack Academy, where mentoring and guiding students in JavaScript and Agile project management were key responsibilities. Prior to a career in software engineering, Kathryn owned Buffalo Vitamin Outlet for nearly a decade, successfully managing multiple retail locations and implementing effective marketing strategies. Kathryn holds a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University at Buffalo and is furthering education through The Grace Hopper Program at Fullstack Academy.
