Joseph Barasoain

Joseph Barasoain, RPL, serves as Deputy Chief for Fulton County Government's Emergency Management & Homeland Security since September 2014, where responsibilities include leading the County's Incident Management Team and coordinating COVID-19 response efforts since March 2020. In addition, Joseph is an Incident Management Team Member for the Georgia Emergency Management Agency/Homeland Security, with experience in multiple leadership roles during significant events. As a consultant for Pegasus Solutions Group LLC since August 2006, Joseph focuses on developing security strategies and crisis management programs for clients. Prior roles include Deputy Director for the City of Alexandria and Law Enforcement Captain, with extensive experience in public safety and emergency management. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Management and participation in several executive leadership programs.
