Lateef Ashekun

Lateef Ashekun is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Deputy Chief Information Officer and Interim Chief Information Officer for Fulton County Government since April 2021. Previously, Ashekun held roles as Deputy Chief Information Officer and Executive Director of IT Service Management for the City of Atlanta from September 2014 to February 2021, and worked as a Strategy Consultant during an MBA Capstone project at Delta Air Lines in 2014. From June 2007 to September 2014, Ashekun managed IT service operations and customer relations at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, and began a career in IT with the United States Marine Corps as a Non-Commissioned Officer from August 2000 to July 2004. Ashekun holds an MBA in Global Business from Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from Clark Atlanta University, complemented by a certificate in Global Leadership from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
