Kaitlyn Black has extensive work experience in education. Kaitlyn started their career as a Grade 1 teacher in Douglas County School System in 2015 and worked there until 2017. Since 2017, they have been associated with Fulton Science Academy Private School. Kaitlyn has held various roles at Fulton Science Academy, including Teacher for Grade 3 and Grade 5, Elementary Collaboration Leader, Curriculum Coordinator, and currently serves as the Head of Elementary. Their role titles and responsibilities have evolved over time, showcasing their growth and expertise in the field of education.
Kaitlyn Black has a strong educational background in the field of Early Childhood Education and Teaching. Kaitlyn started their academic journey at Georgia College & State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree between 2011 and 2015. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching at the University of West Georgia from 2016 to 2017. In 2018 and 2019, Kaitlyn furthered their education at the same institution to earn an Education Specialist degree in the same field. Currently, they are attending Metro RESA to complete their Master's degree in Educational Leadership, which they began in 2022 and is expected to finish in 2023.
