Ryan McGary

Ryan McGary is an experienced legal professional specializing in health tech regulatory compliance and privacy. Currently serving as Associate General Counsel at Function Health since May 2025, Ryan focuses on developing creative, legally-compliant solutions to empower individuals in their health journey. Previous roles include Associate General Counsel at Headway and Senior Associate General Counsel at Life Time Inc., with earlier experience as a Partner at Stinson Leonard Street LLP and Health Law Attorney with the same firm. Additionally, Ryan has worked as an Associate Attorney at Ballard Spahr LLP and as Executive Director for Minnesota Thunder P.L.U.S. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts from Grinnell College and a Doctor of Law from Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
