Chief Marketing Officer at Function of Beauty

Marianna Trofimova has extensive work experience in the marketing and beauty industry. Marianna currently holds the position of Chief Marketing Officer at Function of Beauty since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at L'Oréal for several years in various senior roles. From 2016 to 2021, they served as the Senior Vice President Global Marketing, digital and communications for Biolage, where they were responsible for global brand strategy, brand identity, packaging, communication, and product innovation. Marianna also developed an omni-channel strategy for both professional and consumer channels and oversaw content and asset creation for social, digital, e-commerce, retail, and education. From 2018 to 2020, they held the role of Senior Vice President Global Marketing for Garnier, and from 2016 to 2018, they were the Vice President Business Innovation for Lancome.

Before their time at L'Oréal, Marianna Trofimova worked as the Vice President Skincare Innovation in the R&D department at L'Oréal from 2014 to 2016. Marianna also pursued their Master's degree at SDA Bocconi from 2009 to 2010.

Earlier in their career, they held several leadership positions at L'Oréal S.A., including being the International Marketing Director for Garnier, Marketing Director for Garnier Maybelline in Spain, and Makeup Director for L'Oréal Paris.

Marianna Trofimova completed their Master's degree in Management of fashion and design based companies at SDA Bocconi from 2008 to 2009. Marianna previously studied at Sciences Po from 1995 to 1998, majoring in Marketing in the Economie, Section Internationale program. Marianna also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Luxury and designed based compagnies from SDA Bocconi, but the exact dates for this degree are not provided.
