Derek Luna

Derek Luna, EIT, currently serves as a Water Resources Project Engineer at AECOM and is an Associate Board Member at Prismatic. In addition, Derek is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Fund for Education Abroad, where responsibilities include fundraising for an annual $2.1 million scholarship endowment for underrepresented students. Previous roles involve significant contributions as a Water Resources Engineer-in-Training at Kimley-Horn and Wood, and as a Land Development Engineer-in-Training. Notable internship experiences include positions at LJA Engineering, Parkhill, Smith & Cooper, the City of Austin, and Texas Tech University. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University and has undertaken research related to environmental science during a study abroad in Bhutan.
