Makayla Karr-Warner is a Portfolio Manager at the Fund for the City of New York since June 2022, where responsibilities have included conducting policy and market research for the Cash Flow Loan Program and creating Vendor Management Resource Guides to streamline procurement processes for partners. Previously, Makayla served as a Research Intern on a special archival project that involved qualitative research and developing an interactive timeline for the Fund's website to enhance organizational visibility. Additional experience includes coaching novice girls' rowing at Community Rowing, Inc., tutoring student-athletes at Boston College, and managing marketing initiatives at the Boston Leadership Institute, where significant growth in enrollment was achieved. Makayla holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership, Politics, and Advocacy from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in Photojournalism with a concentration in Spanish from Boston University.
