Maria Homem is a distinguished academic and founder with extensive experience in higher education and research. Currently serving as the Founder of MARIA HOMEM since January 2016, Maria also holds the position of Researcher at the Núcleo Pesquisa Diversitas at the Universidade de São Paulo since June 2012, and teaches at the Museu da Imagem e do Som - MIS SP and Casa do Saber Rio since March 2012 and October 2011, respectively. Additionally, Maria has been a Professor and Doctor at Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado since January 1999 and previously taught graduate courses in Psychoanalysis at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo from August 2007 to December 2009. Maria Homem earned a Doctorate in Literary Theory and Comparative Literature from the Universidade de São Paulo, a Master's in Psychoanalysis and Aesthetics from the College International de Philosophie, and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the Universidade de São Paulo.
