Katherine Lepe Abarca

Katherine Lepe Abarca is a Fonoaudióloga with extensive experience in the field of speech and language therapy. Currently employed at Fundación TEA amamos and Fundación Coanil since June 2023 and October 2022 respectively, Katherine specializes in evaluating and diagnosing speech and language disorders in youth, particularly those associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, and intellectual disabilities. Previous professional roles include conducting auditory screenings and early language stimulation for newborns at Hospital y CRS El Pino, as well as providing speech therapy and interventions for the elderly and patients with neurological conditions at ELEAM Cordillera and Hospital Barros Luco Trudeau. Katherine also has experience in teletherapeutic practices for children and adolescents, having worked at Universidad Andrés Bello. Katherine holds a degree in Fonoaudióloga from Universidad Andres Bello, awarded in March 2022.
