Cintia Refojo

Cintia Refojo is an experienced professional in science communication and education, currently serving as the Head of the Unit for the Advancement of Science Communication and the Science Education Unit at the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) since November 2012. Previous roles include project manager in the Communication and Public Engagement Unit at Genoma España Foundation and various positions in administration and sales coordination at other organizations. Cintia's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, a postgraduate certificate in Science Journalism and Science Communication from U.N.E.D., a professional course in Applied Research Skills in Science Communication from the University of the West of England, and participation in a PhD Programme in Animal and Human Behaviour at Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
