Adriana Giraldo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community defense, project supervision, and social coordination. Currently serving as an expert technician at the Unidad de búsqueda de personas dadas por desaparecidas since January 2020, and as a community defender at Defensoría del Pueblo Colombia since July 2018, Adriana has successfully led initiatives focused on peacebuilding and social development. With a strong background in project management gained through various roles, including supervisor positions at Fundación Ideas para la Paz and Alcaldía Mayor de Bogotá, and project coordination at Fundación Orbis, Adriana has demonstrated expertise in implementing public policies, risk analysis, and supporting vulnerable populations. Adriana holds a degree in Psychology from Universidad de San Buenaventura, completed between 1996 and 2002.
