Patricia Salas Valencia is an experienced researcher and project coordinator with a strong background in peacebuilding, governance, and community development. Currently serving as a researcher at Fundación Ideas para la Paz since January 2021, Patricia has held various roles within the organization, including junior researcher and regional coordinator for projects aimed at strengthening citizen security and community action in Antioquia. Previous experiences include working as a regional advisor for institutional strengthening and leading various initiatives in collaboration with USAID focused on post-conflict analysis and justice mapping. Patricia holds a degree in Social Planning and Development from Colegio Mayor de Antioquia and a Master's degree in Development from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, complemented by a diploma in Human Rights.
