Abhijit Naik

Abhijit Naik is the current Chief Risk & Data Officer at Fundfina. Abhijit has also previously worked as a Senior Manager at American Express, Research Associate at Harvard Business School, and PM at Nomura and Barclays Capital.

Naik began their career in 2008 as a PM at Barclays Capital. Abhijit then moved to American Express in December 2015, where they had full-time CCO responsibilities for Netherlands and interim CCO responsibilities for Nordics. In October 2017, they were assigned to the office of the SVP in charge of global risk, fraud, and acquisition models.

From 2013 to 2015, Naik worked as a Research Associate at Harvard Business School under Prof. B. Groysberg. They used NFL data to extract business insights on organisation behaviour including understanding how organisational structure, managers, and employees generate benefits for organisations in terms of performance, revenues, and overall firm value.

In 2011, Naik became a PM at Nomura Alternative Investment Management. There, they managed portfolios using systematic alpha generating strategies in global macro and equity volatility. Abhijit also worked with the structuring team to on-board external asset managers on the fund platform.

They work with Bikram Bajaj - Cheif Product Officer, Nishant Bhaskar - Director, Finance & Technology, and Soni Yatheendradas - Consultant, Data and Analytics. Their manager is Rahul Tripathy, Founder & CEO.
