Hagai Israeli has a diverse range of work experience in the software development field. Hagai began their career in 2004 as a Technical Support Engineer at Comverse, where they provided tier 4 support and integrated systems for customers. From 2009 to 2010, Hagai worked as a Real-time C++ Developer at IAI, focusing on embedded software development and algorithm implementation.

In 2010, they joined AMD as a C++ Programmer on the OpenCL driver team, where they designed and implemented new features, fixed bugs in the driver, and optimized existing code. From 2012 to 2014, Hagai worked at Hewlett-Packard Indigo as a Development Engineer in the Software Infrastructure Group, where they developed new features, improved performance, and maintained legacy systems code.

In 2015, Hagai joined DoubleVerify as a Full Stack Software Developer and Data Engineer.
