Michael Shachar

Michael Shachar is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive leadership experience, currently serving as a Software Engineering Team Lead at FundGuard since May 2023. Previously, Michael held similar roles at Lumigo from October 2021 to January 2023 and gained consulting experience at Unit 8200 in 2021. Michael's background includes a significant tenure at Assured Allies as a Software Engineer from November 2018 to October 2020 and leadership positions at Israeli Military Intelligence - Unit 8200 from November 2013 to October 2018. Michael started a freelance career in software engineering between 2012 and 2013 while completing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, which culminated in 2022. Currently, Michael is pursuing a Master of Arts in Philosophy at Tel Aviv University, expected to complete in October 2025.
