Wolfgang Portugaller has extensive experience in software and automation engineering, currently serving in multiple leadership roles at B&R Industrial Automation since April 2012, including Group Lead Engineering Software and Technical Product Owner for Automation Studio. Previous positions include Owner of 2Top Software Engineering GmbH, CEO of Blumatix GmbH, and Development Consultant at SKIDATA AG. Early career roles include Software Development Lead at both Anthos Labtec Instruments GbmH and DIGICARD, as well as serving as an Army Officer in the Austrian Army. Wolfgang Portugaller holds a Master of Arts in Business Administration and Psychology from Ferdinand Porsche Fern FH, a Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur in Industrial Engineering and Management from Hochschule Mittweida, and an Ing. in Communication and Electronic Engineering from HTBL u.
