Simon Xie

Simon Xie is the current Country Head for Funding Societies in Singapore. Prior to this, they were the Sales Director for the company from March 2018 to March 2021. Xie has also been the CEO of Dektos Investment Corporation Pte Ltd from June 2017 to February 2018 and Executive Director of Xingang Investment Pte Ltd from August 2016 to May 2017.

Xie started their career as a Relationship Manager for RHB Banking Group from January 2015 to July 2016 where they were responsible for acquiring new and managing existing commercial banking clients. Simon then became a Team Manager for Loyal Reliance Pte Ltd from September 2013 to December 2014 before taking on the role of Business Team Head at UOB from January 2013 to September 2013. Simon's last role before joining Funding Societies was as Team Leader at Standard Chartered Bank from June 2009 to December 2012.

Simon Xie attended RMIT University where they earned their Bachelor of Economics in finance and general studies. Simon then went on to earn their Diploma in management studies from the Singapore Institute of Management.

Simon Xie works with Tran Ngoc - Head of Product & Risk Management, Rajeev Gupta - Finance Director, and Varun B. - Country Head, Thailand. Their manager is Kelvin Teo, Co-Founder & Group CEO.
