Meric Ekmekci

Meric Ekmekci has over 20 years of diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Meric is currently the Co-Founder of Fundomundo, an online learning platform for kids. Prior to that, they served as the Executive Director of AliExpress University, where they helped over 20,000 merchants onboard the platform.

Before joining AliExpress, Meric was the Managing Partner of EKNET, a technology company specializing in high-return technology solutions in the EEMENA region. Meric worked with clients such as SAP, Alibaba, Aliexpress, Sinch, and Citibank.

From 2005 to 2010, Meric worked as the Director of the Telecom Group at Internet Holding A.S., overseeing business activities in media, internet, and telecommunications sectors. Before that, they were a Managing Partner at 3G Interactive, LLC, providing business strategy and systems integration solutions to global clients.

Meric also has experience as the Director of Product Strategy at Roamfreely Inc., and in the early stages of their career, they worked at BT Infonet, specializing in internet telephony and e-commerce products.

Meric Ekmekci began their education by completing their high school education at Tarsus American College from 1984 to 1991. Following this, they furthered their education at USC Marshall School of Business from 1996 to 1998, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration - MBA with a focus on Investment Banking.
