Lebanos Mengistu

Lebanos Mengistu has a diverse work experience. In 2018, they worked as a Lead Camp Counselor at the YMCA of Greater Boston during the summer months. In 2019, they had multiple roles, including a Sales and Marketing Specialist at Break Coffee Shop and a Research Fellowship at the African Union. They also participated in a Superday event at Barclays Investment Bank. In 2020, they worked as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Barclays Investment Bank. In 2021, they joined Barclays Investment Bank as an Investment Banking Analyst and stayed until 2022. In 2022, they worked in Strategic Finance at Wunderkind. In 2023, they started working in the Finance department of Fundraise Up. Additionally, Lebanos has experience in activism and entrepreneurship, as they founded Act Safe, Be Safe in 2016 and served as an Equity and Inclusion Facilitator at Bates College. They also held various roles at Bates College, including Athletics Facility Manager, Office of Advancement, and Office of Intercultural Education Fellow.
