Tomi Korpela

Tomi Korpela is the Chief Technical Officer at Fundu. Tomi has over twenty years of experience in leading and coordinating the technical operations of companies in the financial sector. Prior to joining Fundu, they were the Director of Projects and Operations at Pine & Cone Oy, where they oversaw the development of a new payment method called Request-To-Pay (R2P). Tomi also contributed to creating modern API solutions for the neobank sector. At Fundu, Tomi is responsible for leading the development team and ensuring that production runs smoothly. Tomi also creates and maintains the process documentation demanded by the financial authorities and contributes to customer projects. In addition to their work at Fundu, Tomi also enables IT development work to happen in an agile way and ensures that Fundu's production systems work without issues.

Tomi Korpela did not graduate from Aalto University, but they did receive a certification from IBM as an Advanced Application Developer - Lotus Notes and Domino 8.5.
