Nicolas Gonzalez

Nicolas Gonzalez has been working in the finance industry since 2006. Nicolas began their career as a Research Analyst at the European Central Bank, where they conducted equity market analysis for Executive Board Briefings and developed Euro Zone yield curve models and risk sentiment-based indicators. In 2008, they moved to State Street Global Advisors as a Portfolio Manager, where they were responsible for research and management of quantitative active developed European strategies. Nicolas also managed several funds and was responsible for portfolio management, risk management, and equity research. In 2012, they joined EDHEC-Risk Institute as a Senior Quant Analyst, where they were a senior member of ERI Scientific Beta venture on alternative equity strategy indices and was responsible for design and implementation of alternative factor indices with a focus on factor investment solutions. Finally, in 2015, they co-founded Fintech.

Nicolas Gonzalez obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from the Université de Rennes I between 2004 and 2005. Nicolas then went on to complete an MSc in Statistics with a focus on Risk Management and Financial Engineering from ENSAI between 2003 and 2006. In 2012, they were certified by the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) - France. Nicolas also holds a MatLab Certificate for Financial Applications from Mathworks.
